What is the Defect Liability Period?
The DLP is the period specified in your sale and purchase agreement during which eligible defects can be reported to your developer for rectification. Check your agreement for the applicable dates and terms. Our inspection documents defects so you can submit clear evidence before that period ends.

TRAINED EYES. NOTHING OVERLOOKED.
The Defects We Catch
From the visible to the hidden. A detailed check of the things that make a home.
Hollowness
A tap-test is performed on floors and walls to detect hollow or weak areas that may indicate improper installation, debonding, or structural concerns.
Alignment Assessment
Walls, floors, door frames, and fixtures are checked for straightness, levelness, and proper alignment using industry-standard measurement tools.
Water Systems
Inspection of plumbing fixtures, water pressure, flow consistency, drainage, and potential leaks to ensure the property’s water system functions correctly.
Electrical Systems
Verification of switches, sockets, distribution boards, grounding, and overall electrical safety to ensure full functionality and compliance with basic standards.
Moisture Detection
Use of moisture and infrared meters and visual checks to identify dampness, seepage, or potential sources of water intrusion that may lead to long-term damage.
Joinery and Openings
Assessment of doors, windows, cabinetry, and other joinery for alignment, operation, finishing quality, and installation defects.
Interior and Exterior Conditions
Visible finishes, façades, ceilings, walls, floors, fittings, and external areas are reviewed for damage, incomplete work, and poor workmanship.
